I love the work of Gunther Von Hagens, his contribution to science is a real eye-opener (in every meaning of the term) for medical students or the general layman intrigued by anatomy & the complex structures of the body. Inventor of the plastination technique, his documentaries caused something of a controversy, as all of his examples are corpses of actual people who have donated their bodies to science. He also occasionally holds exhibitions of his work for the general public. I have to wonder whether it’s a contribution to science or art, as he displays the inner workings of the body in a visually dynamic way, nor does he stop with humans. Brilliant man, & fascinating work, I recommend looking into his documentaries, & note that if I die in the near future, I would like my body to be donated to this project. You can research more of Von Hagens at his website here.

( I myself have visited the exhibition twice already and can tell you it is both artistically and scientifically fascinating.)If you have the chance to go to the exhibition I highly recommend it. Photography is not welcome inside the exhibition but BRING YOUR SKETCH BOOKS!!!BASIC EVENT INFORMATION:
